WHEELCHAIR LOAN CHARITY
The Short Term Wheelchair Loan Charity has been set up to help local people needing temporary use of a wheelchair. They can be used at any age and for many different reasons including illness, accident or anyone with temporary restricted mobility. The service can be used if you live in the CO postcode area.
OPENING HOURS:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday morning 10 - 12 midday.
10 - 11.30 for collecting and returning wheelchairs.

Please note the service does not offer electrically powered wheelchairs.
Whatever the problem,
we're here to help.
Our charity exists to provide wheelchairs at short notice for those who have a temporary need. If you require long-term or permanent use of a wheelchair you should approach the Health Authority through your GP, or ask your Occupational Therapist.
How much does it cost?
The service is free. However, we do request a deposit of £40 which can be refunded in full provided the equipment is returned by the agreed date in good working order. Please see Donations below.
Donations
Our survival depends on donations from you. If you think we’re doing a good job please lend us a helping hand. Donate by contacting the office on the details below, or by popping in and seeing one of our friendly staff between 10 and 12, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday mornings.
We also accept donated wheelchairs.
